Asian women are posited as the other in the aura of any communicative media. In the epistemology system, Asian women convey the image as erotic icons and oriental fantasy objects to the visual consumption of which fulfills the need for gazing pleasure. To overturn the misled perception, female artists and writers of Asian backdrops probe the likely performances to surge and reconstruct the images of presenting Asian women. Apart from it, we also extend the focus to a western female artist who pays her concern on the minorities. By doing so, to reconstruct the other is not merely an issue of redefining the compulsory images but also an awareness of global compassion toward the representation of others who come from different races, nations, classes, ages, genders and cultures.
